What is distance learning, flexible education?
Distance education is an established, recognized and modern teaching methods that are undergoing rapid development. It includes varied forms of flexible learning, from traditional correspondence courses to online teaching and use of various digital media.

"Distance education is instruction in which teacher and student (s) / student (s) are separated in space and / or time. Technical aids used for dissemination of learning materials and the really two-way remote communication, in support of the learning process."
The concepts of distance education are parallel to the English "distance education." Both the English and the term refers to the geographical distance. In practice, it is more important with the flexibility in time; the student can choose when it is convenient to work with studies. E.g., a distance-education study at home in the evening, at work, traveling, etc. The key point is flexibility in the choice of time and place, besides the use of technology to support learning and teaching. Distance learning is the educational and organizational arrangements for students and learners who are not able to or want to follow the formation with physical presence.
It is probably a different meaning in the phrase "flexible education," but that means a flexibility not to mention adults, and established the score of. The flexibility may reside on different aspects of education: Part-time Progression, decentralized education, evening or weekend lessons, digital and multimedia learning materials and online communication between teacher and student and between students.
