Students who choose the on-line programs can earn a degree online while corresponding with teachers via email. The University maintains 30 sites throughout Alabama where students can participate in video conferencing programs. Videoconferencing programs track a timetable of standard class, and students be able to relate with teachers in actual time through audio connections and video. DVD program's consent to students to study at house watching the recorded programs and lectures. Students can choose distance learning programs such as the Master of Arts in Management, Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling, Master of Law and Taxation or bachelor of Science in Nursing, to name a few.

Columbia University South

Accredited by the Training and Distance Education, Columbia Southern University (CSU) offers online certificates only, partner, master, bachelor and doctoral programs. Associate degrees include criminal justice, security and health and fire science. Baccalaureate programs offer degrees in psychology, finance, information technology and hospitality and tourism. Students can earn a Master at CSU in health administration, sports management, public administration and management of emergency services. Students transferring from other universities or colleges may transfer up to 50% of graduate credits and 75% of undergraduate credits. Select courses at CSU are administered through partnership programs with the Waldorf College, the fire-rescue chief Brunacini Leadership Institute and the University of North Alabama.

University of North Alabama

Founded in 1830 as LaGrange College, the University of North Alabama (UNA) today has an enrollment of more than 7,000 students. The University offers distance learning classes and programs on-line degree in business, nursing and sociology. on-line courses may include undergraduate and graduate students in American social work, history, education and accounting. Registered nurses (RN) can be paid a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Web and students mentoring or major sociology may hit upon all necessary courses that might in a distance learning program. Except for finance and accounting, business students can earn a Master of Business Administration degree in the on-line program of the University. All on-line courses are facilitated by UNA faculty members with whom students may contact via email, phone or mail. Distance learning students can enjoy all the advantages of other students, including student services and access to the University Library.
